Reservations for trail rides are not required but are strongly recommended and you can book a trail ride or camping excursion online anytime. It is best to schedule a few days in advance, but we will try to accommodate short notice riders as well. We can be reached at (307) 699-3541.
All of our trail rides start out at our camp located approximately 12 miles up the Greys River Road in Alpine, WY, which is a short 35 miles south of Jackson. After a short orientation, your ride will begin. You might want to download our horse ride and camping brochure prior to your trip.
A map with directions to our camp will be emailed to you upon booking.
Horseback riding is classified as a “RUGGED ADVENTURE RECREATIONAL SPORT ACTIVITY.” Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason deemed appropriate by the management of Jackson Hole Outfitters, LLC for the safety of our guests, staff, or property. All participants regardless of age must sign a visitor risk agreement. Horseback riding has inherent risks and you take full responsibility for accidents or injuries. Participate at your own risk.
A full refund will be provided for cancellations that occur more than 72 hours prior to your scheduled stay. We further reserve the right to alter, modify, or cancel a request due to bad weather, unsafe conditions, or a request made by governmental, park, or state agencies. A full refund is given if we must cancel your ride.
We ride 6 days a week from June 15th – August 31st.
